When I received it, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it looks much better than the picture represents. Although the design is simple, the fit & finish details give it the appearance of a finely-crafted instrument. And it is. I recently had my body fat percentage tested at a health fair and the results were the same as the Omron's. The weight registered matches my Health-o-Meter scale, but the Omron is a lot more consistent. The HBF-400 isn't perfect - if I place my feet off-center or if I shift my weight toward my heels or toes, it may register a slightly different reading. However, if I take the effort to weigh myself the same way each time, the readings are remarkably accurate. Highly recommended. ...
